About this event

GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students invites child care leaders, including those in child care centers, family child care homes, Head Start, and Georgia’s Pre-K, to join us for this special opportunity to hear from leadership from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Administration for Children and Families – Office of Early Childhood Development) and U.S. Department of Education.

During this one-hour meeting, Administration leadership will share information about and seek your feedback on the American Families Plan, which proposes additional investments in child care, supports for the ECE workforce, new partnerships with states to offer programs for three- and four-year-olds, and financial assistance to help families afford care.

GEEARS is excited to bring this opportunity to Georgia, and we hope you’ll consider lending your voice to this important conversation.
